Eight club members attended the NZ Amateur Winemakers and Brewers Federation’s National biennial competitions in Papatoetoe over 27-30th October hosted by the Manakau club. Around 1000 wine and beer entries from clubs all round New Zealand were judged by our organisation’s qualified judges.
Our members did well and congratulations to all medal winners.
June’s entries for Essence Liqueur, Natural Liqueur, Dry White Fruit and Dry Plum all received Bronze medals.
Brian received Gold for his Dry Red Grape, Silver for another Dry Red Grape and NZ Dark Ale, and a Bronze for a NZ Lager.
Tom received Gold for his Dry Red Grape, Silver for another Dry Red Grape, Bronze for a Dry White Grape and a Dry White Fruit.
Norm Received Bronze medals for his Natural Liqueur and Dessert.
Pat Received a Bronze medal for her Medium Feijoa.
